Victron MultiPlus-II 12/3000 — 12V / 3000VA / 120V

The MultiPlus-II 12/3000 combines the best of Victron's MultiPlus and MultiGrid into a single unit. It's a pure sine wave inverter/charger with PowerAssist, built-in anti-islanding, and VE.Bus integration for advanced system monitoring and control. As the core component of a Victron ESS (Energy Storage System), it pairs seamlessly with MPPT solar chargers and grid-tie PV inverters. An external current transformer option enables PowerControl and PowerAssist with external current sensing up to 32A. This 12V model features a 120A charger output — ideal for large 12V battery banks. Certified to UL 458.

PowerControl & PowerAssist

The MultiPlus-II prevents overloading limited AC sources such as generators or shore power. It first reduces battery charging automatically when an overload is imminent; if that's insufficient, it boosts the output by drawing from the battery bank to supplement the AC source.

ESS: Energy Storage Systems

The MultiPlus-II is the key component in a Victron ESS system, with flexibility to combine with MPPT Solar Chargers or Grid-tie PV Inverters for self-consumption optimization and grid backup.

UPS Function — <20ms Transfer

In the event of grid failure or loss of shore/generator power, the inverter activates in under 20 milliseconds — fast enough that computers and sensitive electronics continue operating without disruption.

Remote Monitoring & Control

When paired with a GX device (e.g. Cerbo GX), monitor and control the system locally via LAN or remotely via the free VRM app and portal. Accessible from any phone, tablet, or computer.
